Why mix deterrence and detection

A driveway or front entry benefits from a camera that actively responds, flashing lights, a siren, something that makes an intruder think twice before they get close. Other areas, side access, backyards, general coverage spots, are better served by a camera that simply detects and records reliably without needing to be flashy about it. This kit gives you both, rather than forcing a choice between one or the other.
The deterrence side
Two HiLook IPC-T269H-MU/SL cameras handle the active deterrence role. Each one features a built-in spotlight, red and blue strobe lights, a siren, and two-way audio, so you can see, warn, and speak to anyone approaching in real time. These are best placed at driveways, front entry points, or anywhere you want a visible, active response rather than just a passive recording. They still record in full 6MP with 30m of infrared night vision and a fully weatherproof IP67 housing.
The detection side
Two HiLook IPC-T361H-MU AcuSense cameras round out the system. These include built-in microphones for added audio context, and AI-based detection that filters out false alerts caused by pets, trees, or shadows, so you only get notified when it actually matters. These are well suited to backyards, side access, or general coverage areas where reliable detection matters more than an active deterrent.
Room to grow
The kit runs on a HiLook NVR-108MH-C/8P, an 8-channel PoE NVR with 4 spare channels left over after this kit’s 4 cameras. That means if you want to add more coverage down the track, you can, without needing to replace the recorder. It’s paired with a 4TB surveillance-grade hard drive, giving you significantly more recording history than a standard 2TB setup.
